the site rules *
[/justify][/size][/blockquote][/blockquote]welcome to donovan academy, a powers, gifted school rp that takes place in worcester, vermont, 2011. i know you just want to get to the actual roleplaying, but please take the time to just read (or skim over) these rules before starting. there's not many, don't worry.
one please please respect both the admins and the members of this site, regardless of whether you are a member yourself or just a guest who is stopping by. please don't start fights out of character, i'm sure everyone would like donovan academy to be a fun and friendly place.
two when you register, you can sign up with any name you like, although upon setting up your profile, please change it to first middle last, all in lowercase. for example: vladimir igor donovan. this just makes things all neat and tidy.
three one character per account. you may have up to four characters on different accounts, but no more as it would be extremely hard to keep any more than four accounts active unless you convince me you can handle more accounts.
four here at donovan academy, we don't believe in a word count. quality is better than quantity. but please try to match the posts of the person you're roleplaying with.
five one thing that drives me crazy is god modding. please please don't do it. for those of you who aren't quite sure on what it is, it's basically controlling someone else's character. just don't do it, please please please. the only exception would be if you're a mind manipulator or a hypnotist...but even then, be careful.
six banners, icon, signatures, what-have-you are strongly recommended. everyone likes to stare at pretty celebrities, yes? if you're having trouble coming up with some type of picture of your character, ask me and i'd be glad to help.
seven in order to abide by proboards rules, mature topics are not allowed. please take this into consideration when posting. swearing is allowed, but nothing too explicit please.
