I NEED ANOTHER STORY. SOMETHING TO GET OFF MY CHEST.I'M GONNA GIVE ALL MY SECRETS AWAY.TELL ME WHAT YOU WANT TO HEAR. SOMETHING THAT WAS LIKE THOSE YEARS.------------------------------------------------------------------ Ari walked down the halls of Donovan academy. She sighed when someone blamed her for bumping into her shoulder. She rolled her eyes and just continued to stroll down the hallway. She couldn’t wait to get out of school. She was tired of the constant arguing, the gossip, the war talk. God. War talk at school? Where was the world going to? Oh yeah, the whole power thing screwed everyone over in one way or another. This whole talk of a full out war made her worry. She was an only child so she had no younger siblings to worry about unlike some people here. She only had to worry about her father. Then again, he kind of dumped her here in the first place, but what choice did he have? She blew up her classroom when they moved here in the first place because some kids were making fun of her. She shook her head at the memory. She gave the kids making fun of her third degree burns at the least. The other students in the classroom barely got scratched thank God.
She opened up the door to the library. The library and her were like best friends almost. It was quiet, she didn’t have to worry about anything, and she could relax in peace. She nodded her head to the librarian at the front desk and headed back to an empty table. She set all her things down and took a seat. She took in a deep breath and decided that it was finally time to just relax for the day. She put away her notebooks and things into her little purse/bag and then got back up to find a book or something to read. She went to the fiction shelf first of course. She grabbed the first book in the Artemis Foul series. That had to be her favorite. Harry Potter doesn’t have anything on him. She went back to the table she had occupied and sat down for a brief second before she got back up to get the lighter out of her back pocket. She tossed it in her purse and then grabbed her iPod for music purposes. She put it on shuffle and decided that this was going to be a good rest of the day.

Alistair had a pretty much easy going day, he spent most of it walking around the school, making sure that everyone was keeping in line. Alistair had already given a few students detention, even though some students didn’t deserve it. Alistair was glad that his father didn’t give him a teaching job, for one thing he wouldn’t to where to begin. He was just happy to be where he was. Placing his hands inside his pockets, Alistair made his way towards the library, the one place he hadn’t been to today. Alistair hadn’t spotted his father yet but that didn’t mean that much, he could do the entire day without spotting the guy.
Wearing only jeans, black shirt and boots today, Alistair made his way towards the library, though he wasn’t in the mood for doing much today maybe doing something for fun. Using his powers on people made him laugh, it always did. Alistair hoped that there was something interesting happening in the library or he’ll find the trip not very worth while, in fact there wasn’t a use for a trip in the library only because the students use it and it was apart of his rounds for the day. You wouldn’t normally find Alistair in the library on a regular basis.
Alistair entered the library and saw the keep quiet sign, he laughed at it while shaking his head. Like he would do that this place would be his soon anyway. Alistair glanced around the library, the students here weren’t up to no good and the librarian snuck to the back. People usually walked the other way when they saw Alistair coming. Alistair saw a student reading a book, he smiled he wondered if the girl had a class or something right about now. Walking up towards the girl, Alistair stopped right in front of her. “Hello miss, just checking if you don’t have class or not.” Alistair asked.

I NEED ANOTHER STORY. SOMETHING TO GET OFF MY CHEST.I'M GONNA GIVE ALL MY SECRETS AWAY.TELL ME WHAT YOU WANT TO HEAR. SOMETHING THAT WAS LIKE THOSE YEARS.------------------------------------------------------------------ Ari was a fast reader, anyone could see that. She was already done with half the book. She heard a voice and that was when Ari time was over. She kept one finger in her place and looked up. It was the son of principle Donovon. He had simply asked if she had a class this period or not. Skipping class? Ari would never do such a thing. ”Nope. Free period and this is where I usually come.” It was a valid answer at that. The librarian could vouch for her if need be. Ari turned her attention back to her book after that. Well, at least people around here were doing their jobs. More than some schools can say. Then again, he was just the guy who walked around making sure students were in class and gave out detentions. Ari could do that. He was a grown-up version of a hall monitor.
After seeing that he didn’t leave, she closed the book entirely and turned her body towards him, ”Do you want to see a schedule?” She had no idea where her current schedule was, but she could easily pull it up on her iPod. She always plugged her classed in to her notes section just in case she was having one of those days where she couldn’t remember anything. Those came most often after using her power for an extended amount of time. She was only trying to build up her strength so she could last longer than ten minutes without passing out. A little a day helped a tiny bit.
Ari overlooked the younger Donovan. Slight curled hair, blue-gray colored eyes, and tall. She wanted to roll her eyes at his looks. Some girls went crazy over a guy like him, but Ari didn’t see why they would. She was pretty out of the loop at this school, but she was pretty sure he was dating a student here or something. She was pretty sure that dating a student when you’re a ‘teacher’ is illegal in many different ways. Then again, Ari didn’t like getting in the middle of things even if she knew she was right, so she stayed out of it. That’s why she doesn’t like gossip and drama.

Alistair folded his arms, standing still he looked down at the student. Over the course of the two years that he had been hear as the disciplinary Alistair had discovered many forms of lying, he had to use his abilities to get to the bottom of things. Looking back at the student he merely grinned as he heard her response. Having a free period was alright but saying you had a free period where you were meant to be somewhere else, well that wasn’t good. Alistair could see that so far the girl wasn’t amused at him, it didn’t matter to him that much.
Alistair wasn’t seeking out the approval of other students, he merely enforced discipline nothing more nothing less. Alistair laughed at the students next comment it would seem that she read his mind. Alistair wondered if she had some form of minding reading ability or just rather thought of it randomly, Alistair may never know well there are ways he could possibly look at their records but they were locked away in his fathers office and he didn’t have the key. Alistair fell silent for a moment studying the student, looking up and down he tried to read her attitude.
Finally Alistair decided to speak back to the student, he still hadn’t worked out her name yet. “Yes, yes I would.” Alistair replied back. He waited for the students schedule before doing anything else. Alistair could quiet easily make this into a game if he wanted to and beside he hadn’t had much enjoyment today he usually found some student to make their lives miserable. “What’s your name student?” Alistair asked wanting to make a mental note of her name and whatnot, just so he could remember this encounter again. Alistair folded his arms once more as he waited for the student to hand out her schedule.

I NEED ANOTHER STORY. SOMETHING TO GET OFF MY CHEST.I'M GONNA GIVE ALL MY SECRETS AWAY.TELL ME WHAT YOU WANT TO HEAR. SOMETHING THAT WAS LIKE THOSE YEARS.------------------------------------------------------------------ The teacher sort of laughed at her comment on the schedule thing, probably wondering if she had mind reading or not. No. She could just easily read people. Not wanting to actually back sass the Donovan, she answered, ”And if you think I have mind reading, you would be wrong. I have fire abilities.” She shrugged her shoulders and then crossed her legs waiting for his next response. This was going to be a fun day, she could already tell. What’s next after him? Someone confessing their love to her? Oh, yeah. Fun day. No one at this school really knew her. She rarely talked to anyone unless they didn’t care about the war or they were like her. Don’t get her wrong, she had friends that sided with a team in this war, but they knew that she wouldn’t give input in their rants or anything.
His next response didn’t exactly surprise her. He did want to see her schedule. She pulled up her pictures, because he would probably think the note thing was false or something. With these new iTouches, they could take pictures thank god. Or else she would probably be screwed in this situation. She made it so the picture was extra big and clear. She held it up to him for his approval. After a minute or two, she brought it back down. Then he asked her name. ”Aristotle Williams.” He was probably going to go look her up on the school’s computer now. She honestly didn’t care. She had nothing to hide or be surprised at. The only thing she had to worry about was her temper and if there was any fire around. Right now, her temper was calm despite the Donovan pounding her with questions that he should already know. Her eyes slightly shifted to look around the library. No flames in sight. She always checked just in case her temper went even slightly overboard. You never know what could happen.
