SCHOOL RULES
Here at Donovan Academy, everyone is expected to follow the rules. Failure to abide by them will result in disciplinary action.
1. No chewing gum
2. No cell phones in class
3. No fighting
4. No running in the hallways
5. No skipping class
6. No back-talking teachers
7. No smoking or drinking alcohol on the premises
8. No breaking curfew
9. No PDA
Breaking any of the above rules will result in evening detention.
Curfew is at 10 p.m. and lights out is at 11 p.m. Anyone caught outside of his/her dorms after 10 will not be allowed to leave that coming weekend.
Students may leave every weekend unless they have received at least two detentions during the week. If so, that student will spend the weekend at Donovan Academy studying. School rules will still be in effect.
Students can leave at 5 p.m. on Friday and will come back to school at 5 p.m. on Sunday. Students may also, if they wish, leave for a few hours on the weekend, but sleep in their dormitories.
Weekend breaks are a privilege, not a right.
These rules can be subject to change at the Headmaster's wish. Check back periodically for updates.
